Extension Privacy Policy

The MultiChannel Profit Calculator is a browser extension built by WMS 360 (Combosoft Ltd). This privacy policy explains how the extension handles your data. In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

This extension does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected (name, email, address, etc.).
• No browsing history is tracked or recorded.
• No analytics or telemetry data is gathered.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
• No data is sent to any external server, API, or third party.

The extension uses Chrome's built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local) to save:

• User preferences — your default VAT scheme, shipping carrier, packaging cost, and theme choice.
• Custom commission rates — any marketplace fee percentages you override.
• Saved products — up to 20 product calculations you choose to save (product name, prices, and profit figures only).

This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear all saved data at any time from the extension's Settings tab.

When you visit supported marketplace websites (eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop, OnBuy), the extension reads product information (title, price, category) from the page to pre-fill the calculator. This data is:

• Processed entirely within your browser.
• Never sent to any server or third party.
• Only used to populate the calculator fields for your convenience.
• Discarded when you close the tab or dismiss the overlay.

The extension requests only two Chrome permissions:

• storage — to save your preferences and product calculations locally on your device.
• activeTab — to read product information from marketplace pages you are viewing, only when you interact with the extension.

The extension does not request access to your browsing history, cookies, bookmarks, or any other browser data.

The extension does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. All marketplace fee calculations are performed locally using fee data bundled within the extension.

The extension contains links to WMS 360 (wms360.co.uk). Clicking these links opens our website in a new tab, which is governed by our separate Website Privacy Policy. The extension itself does not track whether you click these links.

When the extension is updated via the Chrome Web Store, your saved preferences and products are preserved. Fee data (marketplace commission rates, shipping costs) may be updated to reflect current rates.

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
