What is a Catalogue in WMS360?

A Catalogue in WMS360 is a product listing — the parent product that contains one or more variations with their own SKU, barcode, and stock levels.

What is a Catalogue in WMS360?

A Catalogue is the central product record in WMS360. Every physical product you sell, store, or ship must first exist as a Catalogue entry before it can receive stock, be listed on a sales channel, or appear in an order.

Navigation

Catalogue entries are managed under the Catalogue section of the sidebar, which contains:

  • Active Catalogue — all live products
  • Pending Catalogue — products awaiting review
  • Add Catalogue — create a new product
  • Product Groups, Specifications, Variations, Bulk Upload Manager, Bundle SKU

What a Catalogue Entry Contains

Each product record is organised across eight tabs:

| Tab | Purpose | |-----|---------| | Basic Info | Product Name, SKU, EAN No | | Pricing | Cost Price, Sale Price, RRP | | Images | Product image uploads | | Description | Rich-text product description | | Variations | Size, Colour, and other attribute combinations | | Categorization | Product category assignment | | Channels | Which sales channels the product is listed on | | SEO | Meta Title, Meta Description |

Variations

A single Catalogue entry can have multiple variations (e.g. Size: S, M, L, XL, 2XL; Colour: Black). Each variation gets its own SKU, EAN, pricing, and stock level.

Viewing a Catalogue Product

Open Catalogue > Active Catalogue, then click a product to reach the product view page. From here you can:

  • Download or upload a CSV of variations
  • Edit the product
  • Open the Manage dropdown per variation to: create an Invoice, print a label, view the shelf, declare a defect, configure a bundle, or delete the variation.

Bulk Import

Use the Bulk Catalogue Create by CSV button on the Add Catalogue page to import multiple products at once.
