How to Create a Multi-Product Bundle

Step-by-step guide to creating a multi-product bundle in WMS360. Combine separate SKUs like a hoodie and jogger into a single tracksuit listing with automatic stock calculation.

Quick Answer

Go to Catalogue > open the catalogue containing your bundle variation > click Manage on the bundle row > select Configure Bundle > search and add component SKUs.

What is a Multi-Product Bundle?

A multi-product bundle combines separate products into a single sellable item. For example, a Hoodie + Jogger sold together as a "Full Tracksuit". Customers buy one listing and receive multiple products.

The bundle variation must already exist as a variation in your catalogue before you can configure it. You do not create stock for the bundle — WMS360 calculates it automatically from the component stock levels.

Step 1: Create the Bundle Variation

If you haven't already, add a variation to your catalogue for the bundle product. For example, add "Full Tracksuit" as a variation alongside "Hoodie" and "Jogger". The bundle variation should have zero stock — you will never receive stock directly onto it.

Step 2: Open Configure Bundle

  1. Go to Catalogue and open the catalogue containing your variations
  2. Find the bundle variation row in the table
  3. Click the Manage dropdown button
  4. Select Configure Bundle

Step 3: Search and Add Components

In the Configure Bundle modal:

  1. Use the Search & Add Components field to find SKUs
  2. Click a result to add it as a component
  3. Each component is added with a default quantity of 1
  4. Repeat for all products in the bundle

For a tracksuit bundle, you would add the Hoodie SKU and the Jogger SKU.

Step 4: Review Calculated Stock

The Calculated Bundle Stock updates in real time as you add components. It shows how many complete bundles can be assembled from your current component stock.

The formula is: Bundle Stock = min(Component Stock ÷ Quantity) for all components.

Example: 18 Hoodies (qty 1) and 24 Joggers (qty 1) → min(18, 24) = 18 bundles available.

Step 5: Save Configuration

Click Save Configuration. A success message confirms the bundle is set up. The bundle variation now shows its calculated stock on the catalogue page with a BUNDLE badge.

Important Notes

  • The bundle variation must have zero physical stock before you can configure it
  • Bundle stock is calculated automatically — never receive stock onto the bundle SKU
  • When a bundle sells, stock of each component decreases by its quantity in the bundle
  • If any component runs out of stock, the bundle stock drops to zero
