How to List a Product on eBay from WMS360

Step-by-step guide to listing a product on eBay using WMS360. Covers selecting a profile, filling in listing details, and publishing.

How to List a Product on eBay

Follow these steps to create an eBay listing from your WMS360 catalogue:

Step 1: Open Your Active Catalogue

Navigate to Catalogue > Active Catalogue in the sidebar. Find the product you want to list on eBay.

Step 2: Click Manage and Select eBay

Click the Manage button on the product row. A grid of channel icons will appear. Click the eBay icon to open the eBay create product page.

Step 3: Select a Listing Profile

Choose a pre-configured listing profile from the Select Profiles dropdown. Profiles store your eBay category, condition, return policy, payment policy, shipping policy, and other settings so you don't have to configure them each time.

Step 4: Review the Product Title

The product title is automatically pulled from your catalogue. You can edit it if you need a different title specifically for eBay. You can also enable Feeder Quantity to automatically top up stock on eBay when it runs low.

Step 5: Review Product Images

Images are automatically loaded from your catalogue. You can drag to reorder them — the first image becomes the main eBay listing photo. You can also add new images or remove existing ones, but changes are optional.

Step 6: Check the Variations Table

If your product has variations (e.g., different sizes or colours), they appear in a table showing SKU, colour, size, price, quantity, and EAN for each variation. All data is pulled from your catalogue. Use the optional Edit button only if you need different pricing per variation on eBay.

Step 7: Fill in Item Specifics

eBay requires certain item specifics depending on the category. Required fields (e.g., Brand, Colour, Department, Size, Type) are marked. Fill these in using the searchable dropdown menus. Optional fields like Fabric Type, Style, and Pattern improve your search visibility on eBay.

Step 8: Set Shop Categories

Under Shop Category, select your eBay store categories (e.g., "Nike" and "Men's Clothing"). These organise products within your eBay shop.

Step 9: Configure Campaigns (Optional)

Enable Campaigns to boost your listing with eBay promoted placements. Set an ad rate percentage — you only pay when your item sells. The estimated cost is shown on the right.

Step 10: Multi-Buy Discount (Optional)

Tick the Multi-Buy Discount checkbox to add a discount after publishing (e.g., "Buy 2 get 5% off").

Step 11: Verify and Publish

Click Verify to check for any errors or missing fields. Once verified, click Add Product to publish your listing live on eBay. You'll see a success toast notification and be redirected to the Active Products page.

Tips

  • Use listing profiles to save time — configure category, condition, and policies once, reuse for every listing.
  • Fill in all required item specifics to avoid eBay listing errors.
  • Enable feeder quantity to prevent stock-outs on eBay.
  • Use promoted listings strategically to increase visibility for competitive products.
