How to Process and Dispatch Orders

Learn the complete order processing workflow in WMS360: from receiving orders to picking, packing, and dispatching with tracking uploads.

How to Process and Dispatch Orders

Orders flow through a status pipeline in WMS360: Pending → Assigned → Picked → Dispatched.

Viewing Orders

Go to Order > list (route: /clients/order/list).

You can search by order number, customer name, or SKU. Filters include Status, Channel, Date range, Picker, and Warehouse.

The order table shows: Order Number, Channel, Customer Name, Items Count, Order Total, Status, Date, and Actions.

Step 1 — Assign to Picker

  1. Select one or more orders using the checkboxes.
  2. Click Assign to Picker from the Bulk Actions bar.
  3. The orders move from Pending to Assigned status.

Step 2 — Picking

The assigned picker retrieves the items from their shelves. Once all items for an order are collected, the order status moves to Picked.

Step 3 — Dispatch

  1. Select picked orders.
  2. Click Dispatch Orders from the Bulk Actions bar.
  3. Orders move to Dispatched status.

You can also Print Labels in bulk from the same Bulk Actions bar before dispatching.

Other Bulk Actions

| Action | Description | |--------|-------------| | Hold | Pause an order from progressing | | Cancel | Cancel selected orders | | Create Return | Initiate a return for selected orders |

Creating a Manual Order

Go to Order > create (route: /clients/order/create) to manually create an order. Fill in customer details (Name, Email, Phone, Address, Post Code, Country), add items by SKU or name with quantity and price, apply payment method and any discount or VAT, then click Save as Draft or Complete & Dispatch.
